He was a member of the cottondale Methodist Church, and has been connected with Fred Sherfill's Grocery store for some time and was formerly a loan collector. We understand that a little child of Mr. Jim Thompson who lives 10 miles above Tuskaloosa, died last Sunday evening, 21st. He has been confined to his room for several days, and no one was with him at the time he shot himself, but the family were in the house and hearing the shot hasten not his room to find him a corpse.
